According to Nicola Salerno (economist, CERM), a recent judgement (n. 3240, 12 February 2010) of the Italian Court of Cassation interpreting a rule regarding a worker’s participation in different compulsory pension schemes, is an example of the inconsistencies within some current pension legislation in Italy.
