CeRP financial literacy project receives EU grant

CeRP-Collegio Carlo Alberto’s proposal “A Network Game for Life-cycle Education” (ANGLE), submitted to the Erasmus + 2020 call, has passed the evaluation process and will receive a 3-year grant.

CeRP-CCA will lead an international partnership of institutions from 5 different countries: ST Skills Together Srls (IT), Research Institute of the Finnish Economy – ETLA (FI), Université Paris Dauphine (FR), Tilburg University (NL), Warsaw School of Economics (PL), Push-Palermo Urban Solutions Hub (IT), Nibud-Nationaal Instituut voor Budgetvoorlichting (NL). The Principal investigator is Elsa Fornero.

The main objective of the project is to promote and enhance younger generations’ financial literacy, through the production of innovative technologies of education, such as a role game and on-line tools. ANGLE will adopt a life-cycle perspective, helping the young, in particular university students, to consider a long-time horizon and think about the future consequences of their decisions.

ANGLE will put a strong emphasis in co-creating and co-constructing the project outputs with the students in order to use an approach consistent with their language and to best include needs, aspirations and viewpoints of the youths.

The project will start in September 2020 and will last three years. The research will build on CeRP long run experience on financial literacy studies, and can count on a consolidated team of researchers from different countries and fields.
