CeRP and ITCILO organize joint session at Gender Academy

Torino, 13 November 2017

The ITCILO Gender Academy (13-24 November 2017) is a two-week forum to learn and discuss global challenges with high-level international experts, share experience with practitioners, test practical approaches and methodologies.

The CeRP-ITCILO session is titled “Leaving No One Behind. The linkages between gender equality, macro-economics and sustainable development” and will be held on 13 November, 2017 at 14:30.

The session will focus the discussion on how hiring decisions might be biased in favour of men and the consequences of this bias on firm’s performance. This topic will be inserted in a broader frame of stereotypes and gender bias into economic decisions.

CeRP-ITCILO jointly organize the Summer School on Gender Economics and Society, whose next edition will be held in 2018.
