G53 Financial Literacy and Personal Finance Research Network launched

The Global Financial Literacy Excellence Center at the George Washington University School of Business and the Sim Kee Boon Institute for Financial Economics at the Singapore Management University have launched the G53 Financial Literacy and Personal Finance Research Network, with the aim to bring together the best researchers in FL from all over the world to connect and collaborate.

The network was inspired by the recent recognition of Financial literacy as a distinct academic field of study with its own Journal of Economic Literature code: G53.

The initiative brings together the best researchers in the field of financial literacy and personal finance to facilitate the exchange of ideas, promote evidence-based research, and inform policy makers and the private sector.

Anna Lusardi from GFLEC and Prof. Panu Kalmi of the University of Vaasa are the co-chairs.

The network includes CeRP affiliates Riccardo Calcagno, Anna Lo Prete, Noemi Oggero and Elsa Fornero.
